The vocabulary you need

Every industry has a vocabulary that locks outsiders out. Real-asset capital is no exception. The good news is the list is short — a few dozen terms cover almost every conversation you will have with a lender or an LP.

Spend an afternoon with the glossary. Read each definition, click through to the related entries, and try to use the term in a sentence about your own deal. Once the vocabulary is second nature, the conversations stop being intimidating — and your materials start sounding like they were written by someone who has done this before, because effectively they were.
